 Dr Richard Eckard,
Principal Scientist/Associate Professor Future Farming Systems Research, Department of Primary Industries, Victoria AND Melbourne School of Land and Environment, The University of Melbourne Dr Richard Eckard is an Associate Professor with the Melbourne School of Land and Environment, The University of Melbourne, and is Principal Scientist of Greenhouse Gas and Climate Change research for the DPI in Victoria. He leads a number of research programs investigating cost-effective Mitigation and Adaptation strategies for Australian agriculture.
Richard has published over 90 scientific publications, holds a number of national and international science leadership roles, being a keynote speaker at numerous industry and international science conferences over the past few years.Appearing: Day One, Monday 13 September 2010 4.30pm Impact of carbon mitigation on agricultural productivity –can we achieve net reductions in agricultural emissions and feed the world?
