 Ms Jan Davis,
President Tasmanian Farmers & Graziers Association Jan Davis recently took on the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association. She has a strong background in the Australian agribusiness sector, and is the Managing Director of Jawin Associates Pty Ltd, a small consulting firm specialising in working with not-for-profit organisations and primary producer groups. Jans contribution to the agribusiness sector has been recognised by inclusion in RIRDCs list of the top 100 women in Australian agriculture.
Jan has a Masters Degree in Agribusiness and Environmental Planning; a Bachelor Degree in Economics; and Graduate Diplomas in Education and Environmental Studies. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a Fellow of the Australian Society of Association Executives.Appearing: Day One, Monday 13 September 2010 2pm Biosecurity: safeguarding agriculture productivity and output through stringent risk mitigation strategies
